Thai passport holder wants to travel to Zhuhai from Macau

Do Thai passport holder needs to apply a tourist visa into Zhuhai, China for 2 days?
If visa required:
Can my friend in Hong Kong to apply the China entry visa with my photocopy of our passport/form/photo? and normal how long will it take?
Or can I apply the China entry visa at the MFM/Zhuhai border?

If you have an old China visa, you can apply for Zhuhai VOA right at the border, which will allow you to stay in Zhuhai for at most 3 days.

If not, you need to apply for a visa in advance and you need to show in person in the visa office in HK. Usually, it takes 4 working days to process it after you submit all the requirements. There is also rush and express service taking 1-3 days at additional charge. BTW, it's not guaranteed you will get it for sure because you apply in a third region rather than in your home country.
