No, unfortunately not. In reality, the only available option would be a Shenzhen airport, but I assume that such an option is not suitable in your case.

Hello any news of longer operating hours for the VOA office? Voa office and border custom is different is it?

Also if I travel from Indonesia>HK>Shenzhen can I do self-antigen test? Note I am Australian

Lastly is there other option for non-voa visa in my case?

Unfortunately, currently the only visa (VOA) office that operates after 16:30 is the one at Shenzhen airport, so totally out of your reach. You are right about the difference between VOA office and "standard" border authorities. They are not related.

You can do a self-antigen test. This is something that is acceptable, fortunately.

The only option how could you bypass VOA is to rely on 144 hour visa free transit. You can take a direct (nonstop) flight from Hong Kong to Guangzhou, enjoy your visa free stay that is valid for entire Guangdong province and then exit from Shenzhen (Shekou) port by direct ferry to Macau

Like this you will form a real transit A - B - C

Hong Kong - mainland China - Macau

After you have reached Macau, you can take the first available ferry to Hong Kong

If you decide to take this option, you should have in mind that you have to book your ferry ticket in advance (through TurboJet) ferry website, print it out and have it with you. Also, you will have to take exactly that ferry you have bought the ticket for.

Thank you for your response.

Just to be clear my route is Australia -> Indonesia (1 day overnight) -> HK (1 day overnight) -> Shenzhen via land crossing. This is eligible for self-antigen test? How do we proof it?

I note If I come directly from Australia we need to do PCR test, but since I am coming from Indonesia even for just 1 day self-antigen is OK?

Thank you

Antigen test is perfectly acceptable as well as PCR test. The only criterion is that any of two tests are not older than 48 hours at the time you approach to the border crossing.

I cannot offer you any proof that self-antigen test is fine, but here, on this forum we had several good feedback stating that self-antigen test was gladly accepted for entry into mainland China.

If you do not feel confident enough to appear at the border crossing with just self-antigen test, then your option is to perform a test in some Hong Kong facility.
