About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does the Indian citizen can transit within 24 hours in guangzhou?

Hi,
I am an Indian passport holder, having valid visas of New Zealand and Uk, I book an airline transiting through Guangzhou, china airport about 7.20 hours from New Zealand to Uk.
So do I need any visa for transiting in China?

Chicku, you as an Indian citizen don't need any kind of visa because your flight itinerary is perfectly covered by 24 hour visa free transit in Guangzhou. The rule is simple and it says that a passenger is allowed to travel through China visa free if her/his entire transit time within mainland China, counted from the first scheduled landing until the last scheduled departure, is less or equal to 24 hours. So, you are fine and you don't need a visa at all.
