About:China Customs Declaration

Entering China from a Hong Kong connection, are the US declared fund rules the same?

My sister is a USA citizen and I am a green card/Chinese passport holder. Does the allowable $15,000 declared cash rule still apply?

Yes, it still applies, no matter who will bring it in.
