About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

Mainland China China + Hainan Visa On Arrival

Dear sir / madam,

I am currently booking flight + hotel to apply for a 14-day visa to Mainland China with a European Schengen passport (the maximum stay limit for tourist visas for my passport nationality is 14 days). At the end of my 14-day China trip, I plan to directly fly from Shanghai to Hainan where my passport should be eligible for a 30-day visa on arrival.

1. Is it therefore possible to cumulate the visa on arrival in Hainan on top of my Mainland China visa?

2. Do I need to specify when applying for my mainland visa that I am also going to Hainan and get a this apply for a visa to Hainan separately as well?

3. Do I still need a nucleic test since I have been staying in Mainland China for more than 7 days?

These information would be extremely valuable.

I look forward to hearing back from you, thank you!

2. To stay longer in Mainland and Hainan, you can appy for visa extension in one of China's entry and exit administration office.
3. To travel from mainland to Hainan, a nucleic test is no longer needed.
