Daughter-in-law is Chinese citizen living in US. Can I get visa to travel with her in China?

My daughter-in-law works in NYC and is a Chinese citizen. She is planning a trip to visit relatives and tour areas of China. I am a US citizen. Can I get a visa to travel with her? Can I tour areas of China with her as a US citizen?
She has 2 daughters who are US citizens and my son is a US citizen. What do they need to travel with her to China? Do they need to submit marriage and birth certificates to travel? Thank you

You can travel with her as mother-in-law. After landing in China, you can sightsee freely as you like. Both you, her daughters and her husband can apply for the family reunion visas. The marriage and birth certificates are needed.
