About:How to Apply a China Visa in Hong Kong

Hong Kong Permanent Resident living abroad

I am a permanent resident of Hong Kong who now primarily resides in Canada. I still spend a fair amount of time in Hong Kong for personal and work purposes, and I will need to travel to China a number of times over the next few years. Because of where I live in Canada, it is more convenient for me to get a multi-entry visa while I am in Hong Kong. Am I able to do that?

Actually you can apply in HK for Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Permanent Residents (Non-Chinese Citizens) which allows you enter China multiple time and each for 90 days. You can make a reservation on ctshk.com then apply for it at HK visa center.
