About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

I have a valid visa issued 17 August 2015 and expiring 17 August 2025 in an expired passport.

I intend on travelling to China soon and then periodically for next 5 years. I am with a different company than I was with when the original visa was issued. Should I get a new visa in my new passport now based on my new employment? thanks very much!

You can apply for a new visa when it expires. Now, you can take both of your passports to China.
