About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Converting family visa to temporary residency in China

I'm about to marry a Chinese citizen and therefore become eligible to the family reunion Visa. Can I convert it to a Temporary Residency inside China? How does it work? Many thanks in advance!

Yes, it's possible. You need to go to local Entry and Exit Administration Office to convert it.
