If my US passport expires in 3 years and I have a 10-year China visa, will the visa just "expire" after 3 years due to my passport?

Looking on the website as long as major details haven’t changed name gender etc on your new passport then carry your expired passport with the indate visa with you when travelling as it’s still valid
