About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Wait Time on Arrival

Hi,

Is anyone aware of the wait for issuance of Visa on Arrival in Shanghai? Havre applied for visa at NY Consulate but Appointment system is backed up for unknown # of days, so deciding to take VOA instead...any insight is appreciated.

As I know, the VOA has not been adoptable in Shanghai. Maybe the appoinment system is backed up because the appoinment is full.
