How to wait at the correct section

eg my carriage number on my ticket is number 5. On the waiting platform there are different color codes. How to read these code so that I can wait at the correct section.

At the boarding gate, find your train number and the corresponding color. After going down to the platform, find that color code with number 5, and you should wait there.

A simple way is to ask the staff for help by showing your ticket information. There are always staff on the platform.
