Accommodation requirements with M Visa

I am applying for an M Visa. Do I need to provide accommodation details during the application process? I plan to base myself in Beijing at my wife's apartment and travel to my in-country business destination from there.

The requirements for M visa don't include accommodation details, but an invitation letter from your business partner, a trade fair or something like that.
