Is the Chinese embassy authaticating documents at the moment or I have to book for an appointment

Yes, they do it at the moment. But you are still advised to comfirm with them by calling 00263-24-2334720 before going.

I'm trying to get hold of them but it's not answered. Is it advisable to just go there to authenticate documents without making an appointment?
