Student visa to temporary visa then again student visa

I’m graduating in June and my visa is expiring in July 31st. After graduation I’m applying for my master degree anywhere in China. If I got enrolled, my masters session will start from probably September. But my current visa is expiring in July. So for these 2-3 months which visa can I apply for? Our university isn’t allowing us to extend our current student visa.

Well, if you cannot extend your student visa, you may need to leave China. Actually you can generally change your student visa to a 30-day visa, but you want to stay 2 - 3 months, so here comes the problem.
