I'm planning to get to Shanghai on Jan, 29th to facilitate my travelling way a bit. Which area do you think is best to book a hotel room in? (not very expensive 200-300 RMB for a night) Knowing that I'm willing to take the metro line 2 to get to the airport? Thanks in advance!

You are suggested to find a hotel nearby People's Square. The surrounding transportation is convenient. And you can also walk to Nanjing Road and the Bund directly.
