About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

How to go about it

My wife wants to move home to China, she's been living with me in Ireland for almost ten years. We are married and have a daughter. How can I go about getting a visa?
Do I have to apply for a work visa or residence visa?

If your wife is a Chinese citizen, you can apply for a Q1 visa. If not, you can apply for a work visa. Remember that if you want to work in China, you have to apply for the work visa.
