Working Visa Issuance in CVASC(Kuala Lumpur) and visas for dependents

Hi. Me and my wife have been offered a job in Guangzhou. We have submitted all the requirements and now left to get the PU letter prepared by our employer in China. We expect it to be ready by next week.

My questions:
1. Upon receiving the PU letter, can we apply for working visa in CVASC (KL)? We have heard news that CVASC won't issue any working visa under the requirement of PU Letter. Is that true?
2. Assuming that our PU letter is enough to obtain the working visa, can our children aged 2 and 4 follow us to China? I have been made aware that China won't accept or issue visas to dependents(children). Is that true too?
3. Assuming that items 1 and 2 are correct, what alternatives can I take to ensure that we can get working visa and our children will be able to follow us to China?

Thank you so much.
Andrew

1. You can contact the CVASC in KL to see if you can apply for a working visa as you hold a PU letter.

2. If you can get a PU letter for your children as well, they can apply for the S1 visa.

Dear Linda,

I have noted item num 1. Thanks for that. However, for item num 2 , I have some queries. I did not apply for an individual PU letter for my children but our PU letter(me and wife), our children's names are stated under me. Is that enough for my children to get the visa?

Hi Linda,

I just got a news that my children's names were not included in our PU Letter as it was advised by the HR department of my Employer. I guess it was done to ensure our PU letter to be approved in China.

In that case, can I still apply a visa for my Children? Assuming that we already got our PU Letter approved without the names of our children in it, what could we do next to ensure visas for our children to follow us to China?

You can try to apply for S1 visa for your children.

Hi, are you suggesting that I try to apply for S1 visa for my children without my children's PU letter?
