About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Query of travel allowed to Beijing from South Africa (Durban) Dec 2020 - Jan 2021

good day, I have a son living in Beijing working as a teacher. My younger son would like to visit him at the end of December 27th for 2 weeks or over Chinese New year. Will he be able to travel from South Africa at this time? In January 2020 he was unable to see any of the sights due to Covid and would really like to visit his brother. What are the procedures please.

Susan, I'm afraid he is only eligible for an L visa, which is for tourists, but you know, Chin doesn't issue L visas at present.
