About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transitting in PUDONG SHANGHAI for 5 hours

I have a flight on Jan 1 from London-Shanghai and lay-over for 5hourd before my flight to my home country which is the Philippines. Do I have to get a visa? and will I be quarantine even if I can present a covid-free certificate from Uk?

Dear, as the visa-free transit policy has been suspended, you will need a visa for transiting in Shanghai. Whether you will be quarantined is at the discretion of the immigration officers.
