Can Q2 visa enter China right now?

Hi,

I'm a US citizen (college student), currently in USA; but my family (Chinese/American Chinese) are in China right now. I want to go back home and visit them. I already have a 10-year Q2 visa, but will I be able to enter China with just a Q2 visa?

I know that foreigners holding residence permits are now allowed to enter China borders; I am not sure about visa.

You cannot enter China with just a Q2 visa now.

Can I reapply for a Q2 visa though? Would that allow me to enter China?

To my understanding you can enter China with a new Q2 visa.
