About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

S1 to residence permit

Hello. We just got our new visas to China. My 19 year old daughter was granted an S1 visa. We’re very happy about this even though many have said children above 19 cannot get S1 visas. The visa states she can convert it to a residence permit within 30 days if arrival.

My question is: is there a possibility that she will not be granted a residence permit because of her age?

Andre, don't worry, as long as you can get the S1 visa, you will be granted a residence permit after entering China.
