About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Authorisation of police clearance

We are currently living in George Western Cape South Africa. My Son who is currently in Shanghai China needs his new police clearance which has already be certified by DIRCO, authenticated by a Chinese consulate. How can we complete this process so he can finalise his work permit? Are the Chinese consulate open for this process?

You need to complete this process at the Chinese consulate in Cape Town. However, I'm not sure whether the consulate is open now. You can call it before going there.
