About:Marriage Registration in China

Entry certificate

How can I obtain an entry certificate for marriage registration,I lost my old passport but already get new passport without entry stamp.

You don't need the entry certificate for registering marriage in China.

Thanks for answering me but the marriage officials insist that i must provide the entry certificate since my new passport doesn't have entry stamp in it. Even though that i provided my resident permit that carried the entry month,date and year in it. I don't really know what to do.

Did you report your passport loss at the local police? If yes, they may have the record.
