temporary residence permit - Which documents

I am married with a Chinese woman since 7 months. We married in Germany. I understand that I currently do not qualify for a permanent residence permit. However, is there a possibility to get at least a temporary residence permit for a year or two or more? I will apply a Q1 visa. If so, what are the requirements? For that, do I need a Chinese translation of the marriage certificate? What other documents do I need to show?

Manfred, yes, you can apply for a Q1 visa by providing your passport, application form, recent photo, your wife's ID card, and your marriage certificate. You need to have your marriage certificate translated and authentictaed. After entering China, you need to get a temporary residence permit within 30 days.
