Re-entry into China for American citizen with valid visa

I am an American citizen who taught English in Yancheng (Jiangsu Province) this past year and they gave me a new Z-visa on June 10, 2020 that is valid until June 2021. I needed to go back to the U.S. during the summer. My question is: Can I re-enter China? If yes, besides the 14-day quarantine, is there any other procedure I need to be aware of? I heard of someone who traveled to China from Australia who needed to check in on QQ for 14 days prior to her flight to show she had been COVID-19 free. What is the current policy? Can I re-enter? And what are the requirements for re-entry?

If you go back to the US, I'm afraid you cannot re-enter China if the epidemic situation does not end.
