If you want to work in China, you must get a work visa. You can't work in China with this residence permit.

marriage to a chinese citizen allows you to stay with her in china, but your visas is like all other tourist visas with renewals, short term entry/exit requirements etc. same with work visas, marriage matters not, you must go through the same process as everyone else. if you want a "green card", you must invest a large sum of money in property or business in china as well as meet many other requirements. the marriage, living and working visa system in china is totally different to that of most, if not all, other countries.

I know people who have been married in china for more than 20 years who cant get more than a 90 day visa. and right now its even more difficult to even get that visa!
