Transfer temporary residency permit from work to family/spouse
I'm currently have temporary residency due to work. My work permit is due to expiry at the end of July and will not be renewed. Want to stay in China. My wife is Chinese and we're married in China and are expecting a baby in the next 3-4 weeks. My wife's huko is in a different city to where we reside. I've been living in China for the last 3.5 year and been married for 7 years. Can I change my temporary residency permit in the city where I'm living to a family/spouse permit, or will I need to go to where my wife's huko is to apply for an updated residency permit? If my wife is unable to travel due to her pregnancy, can one of her family members assist with the residency permit renewal?
