VISA extended by 2 months

Please confirm if the news about visa extension of 2 months is applicable for S2 VISA holders as well?

Thank you. I registered a company and the business License is completed. Can I apply for work visa without exiting mainland, I heard its possible but no way to confirm. Please assist.
