visa overstay

I am two months overstay now in a city different from my residential one because of a flight that I couldn't board.
I need to know to entire process for me to leave china. I recently heard that because of the epidemic people could leave freely or extend visa but I need to confirm that information.

Luna, you need to go to the exit and entry administration in the city you are now in to ask what to do to remedy the situation.
