About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

How about if over stay in over 3 years

I report my situation to the police already for my case I am over of 3 year no visa here in I’m pregnant and I want to go home I reported to the police station the. Ask me to pay the fine.and I am staying for friends accommodation then when I go to the emmegration they ask the house contract I cannot produce it because I am living just in my friend accommodation.why they need it?

Because you are supposed to register at the nearest police station within 24 hours of moving to your friend's place. The NIA agents are asking for the temporary registration confirmation issued by the police station.

Keep in mind that the police station (not immigration) will levy an additional fine for not registering within 24 hours. The fine can go up to 5,000 CNY.
