M class multiple entry visa, covid 19

Hi,

I am currently on an M class multiple entry visa, whilst the overall visa will expire in 2021, my current stay, which is limited to 30 days expires in 13 days. Due to the virus does anybody know if special arrangements are in place for extensions as most countries will not easily take people travelling from China.

Thanks Mark

As a British citizen you still have a legal right to enter any country in the EU/Schengen area. Flights to these countries are readily available (either nonstop or via Thailand/HK where you don't require a visa). Seeking an extension is not a wise choice at this point and the longer you stay the more risk you will expose yourself to.

Most non-Chinese nationals who stayed behind have families that cannot travel with them. If you are not one of them then there is just no point in staying.

Mark, if you need to continue to stay in China, you can go to the local exit and entry administration to apply for a visa extension of about 30 days.
