About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

work visa to family visa

Hello,

I am here on a working visa currently, if i need to change to family visit visa, do I need to exit mainland China to get the Visa and go to hong kong or my home country to get this visa?

William, actually before you go to Hong Kong or you home country to get this family visit visa, you can try to convert your working visa to family visit visa without leaving China. It is possible to do it at the local exit and entry administration of the city where you live.
