About:Chinese Permanent Residence Permit

I have very old Chinese parents ( in laws ) they need help.. can I get a permanent residence ?

I want to live with my Chinese in laws .. they are old and need help maintaining their farm..is a permanent residence permit possible ?

No. You may qualify for a long-term, family-based residence permit but that does not permit employment. You need to get a Q1 visa and then apply for the residence permit at the municipal or county National Immigration Administration in where your in-laws' hukou are.
