Extension during Virus Outbreak becasue for travel retsrictions

Hello, Im a Canadian with a 60 day business visa that must renew on Mar 1, I need to exit china to keep valid. Problem is I cant exit to any country during the virus outbreak. What steps should I take to avoid problems or penalties with the Chinese Government for potentially overstaying my allowed time in China ? Thanks

If you are in a city in lockdown then there is nothing you need to do at this point (as you can still stay for another 20 days or so). Once the National Immigration Administration reopens mid or late February, you can at least get a 30-day humanitarian visa in a week.
