About:China Visa

Changing x2 to x1 visa

I’ll be doing a short term chinese program course from March to July 2020 on an x2 visa. Then I plan to start my master’s degree on an x1 visa in September. Will I be able to change from an x2 to x1 in China with the PSB or do I need to leave the country?

William, you can change from an X2 to X1 visa at the PSB in China.
