Getting more entries on M Visa or getting a new one with more entries

Hi,
I am pilot, doing free-lance in and from China. I have a 6 months M visa with 2 entries.
Already used one, and left China to Japan.
I was initially given only 2 entries, and I m staying one month.
Next time I get back to China I will have to get more entries or a new visa quickly.
Do I have to go to the PSB and get a new one with multiple entries, is that possible. (french passport)
Whats the best and quickest option, either in china or from outside the country?
Do I have to wait until my 2d entry get used?
Many thanks for your hep and advices.

You can get an extension of stay but not an actual visa that allows you to re-enter. The most reliable way is still Hong Kong but there are reports indicating that Japan and South Korea allow applications on a case-to-case basis. You don't have to wait until you have used your second entry but you may not get a double-entry visa either when applying outside your country of citizenship.
