About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

What should I do if my visa expired without intentionally.

I arrived shanghai January 17, 2020. I have 30 days visa. I have plane ticket back to my country on February 15, 2020, but sad to say because of coronavirus cebu pacific airlines give advisory that there is no flight untill February 29. My problem is what should I need to do about my visa? My visa expired on February 16 0r 17. Any idea, suggestion will help. Thanks in advance

Unfortunately there will be no exception despite the outbreak, and if you overstay you must pay a fine and risk not coming back to China for a number of years. You can try to apply for an extension at the local National Immigration Administration office but if that's refused then you will still be on the hook for overstaying. Given the current situation I would end the trip earlier than later as it may last longer than expected.
