About:Visa on Arrival

My ferry arrives to Fuyong Port after 7pm. Will the VOA office be closed?

All sites say it closes at 5pm, here being the only exception.

It literally says on this page the VOA office is open from 10am until the last carrier... but it doesn't exist?

Ana, Fuyong port does not have VOA office. The only port that has VOA office is Shenzhen Shekou port.

As you can see also this website says that Shenzhen Shekou port closes at 17:00 that is the same as 5pm.

So, if you intend to apply for a Shenzhen VOA at Fuyong, you will not be able to do that. You have to use Shenzhen Shekou port, but until 17:00 (5pm).

If you cannot reach Shekou port by 17:00 (5pm) you will have to travel to Shenzhen overland preferably via Lo Wu / Luohu border crossing.

This page is chronically not updated and I ma telling you how the things are in reality. There is no VOA office at Fuyong port and if you arrive there, you will be sent back to Hong Kong. So, if you cannot reach Shenzhen area before 17:00 (5pm), you will have to travel overland preferably via Lo Wu / Luohu border crossing.
