In section 1.9 of the L visa application, what doe the local I/D, citizenship number mean.

In section 1.9 of the L visa application, what doe the local I/D, citizenship number mean. I am a UK citizen whereby we have National Insurance ID numbers. Is that what the question means.

John, if you are applying from the UK, you should complete the online application form on the website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center. In that form, you need to put in National ID number in Section 1.6B.
