About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cruise ship

We will be cruising from Hong Kong to Tokyo, stopping in Bejing overnight and Shanghi overnight included in the cruise itinerary. What sort of visa do we need?

When you first arrive in Shanghai before you cruise to Beijing, you can get use of the 15 day visa-free policy for cruise tour groups.
You need to contact a chinese travel agency in advance to arrange everything.

But it's just eligible when your first stop is Shanghai.
