Tourist visa extension from Z visa

Hi. If my Z work visa expires on 2nd September and I want to travel for a month straight after it from the 3rd, can I apply for a 1 month visa extension as a tourist?
If so, is it likely to be approved?
Is there any way to travel here after a work visa without having to go all the way back to my home country first? Thank you

Yes, when you cancel your work visa and residence permit in the local exit and entry administration, you can apply for a 30-day tourist visa at the same time, so that you can travel after your Z visa expires.
