complicated travel - 15 day travel waiver or multi entry visa for Canadians
Flying in to Beijing from Hong Kong, staying overnight in Beijing (Tianjin), then taking 5 day cruise to Japan, debarking in Beijing (Tianjin). Post cruise, we will stay 3 nights in Beijing, before flying back to Canada. However, our return flight to Canada is via Tokyo (2 hr layover). Because of the Tokyo layover flight, I understand the return trip does NOT qualify for 144 hr transit waiver. If I were to book a tour with a tour company while in Beijing, would I qualify for the 15 day visa waiver? Would I need to books tours for all 3 days post-cruise while in Beijing?
