Indonesian transit at Beijing

Hello 🙂
How about Indonesian citizen who has less than 24 hours transit at Beijing?
Does one need a visa?
Can one apply to leave the airport?

If you are in transit in China for a layover not more than 24 hours, you don't need a visa. Whether you will be allowed to leave the airport is to be determined by the immigration officer.
