About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

HKG - PEK - ICN

I'm flying from HKG to PEK, spending 4 nights in Beijing, then flying PEK to ICN. Does this qualify for the 144 hour transit visa? I have a US passport.

Yes, it definitely does. You just have to take care that your both flights are non stop, i.e. they are not allowed to have any additional landing within mainland China beside Beijing, of course.

You will print out your flight tickets and an accommodation booking confirmation for at least for the first overnight in Beijing.
