ICN - PEK - ICN

Traveling on a USA passport, departing Seoul on March 19 direct, arriving Beijing at 3:10 pm on March 19. Then departing Beijing at 10:50 am on March 21 direct to Seoul. Would this route be eligible. I tried calling China air for information and they would not advise on any visas.
