About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is there a limit how often 24h twov entry permit can be used?

I used my previous (and first) 24h temporal entry permit in Beijing Dec 9th-10th 2019, now I should do it again on Jan 10th 2020 because I have flight change in Beijing and I need to retrieve my luggage and check in again. Is this ok? Route is Hong Kong - Beijing - Frankfurt.

Extra question considering the previous time: I was supposed to fly Stockholm - Beijing - Guangzhou and exit through landport to Macao. In Stockholm my boarding was denied by Air China staff for not having visa, before I bought a new flight from Beijing to Hong Kong. They said I’m not allowed to do a domestic flight ”because the transit visa will be needed already in Beijing” but your site says multiple stops are allowed. What was the problem?

There are no limits on how often you can transit without visa.

On your previous time, did you have a confirmed onward ticket from Guangzhou to Macao in your hand to show the agent in Stockholm? If not, then you were correctly denied boarding. But in general, 24 hours transit without visa allows multiple stops (with one or two exeptions, eg at Shenzhen).

Thank you for your answer!

Last time I had a train ticket from Guangzhou to Zhuhai (Gongbei port) and also flight ticket from Hong Kong to Hanoi for couple of days later, but they didn’t even ask for tickets or documents. Just said I need a new ticket exiting China from Beijing.
