from tonghua (通化) to changbai mountain

Question

I will be staying few days in Tonghua at the beginning of April and would like to visit the Changbai Mountain for a day or two. Is is possible to to it in such a short period of time? And what is the best way to get there from Tonghua? Thank you!

The time is a little tight. You can take train from Tonghua Railway Station to Songjianghe Railway Station first (4 hours on the way), then take bus No.1 to Xipo Tourist Center. And you can take taxi directly to Changbaishan.
