how long should pass before applying for a new visa after my first visa is expired?

Hello,

i have an F type Visa for 6 months which is due to expire soon, but I'd like to stay in the country more time. How long should pass after the first visa is expired to apply for a fresh one?
Could I just go back to my home country for a couple of weeks, do a new application in the meantime and then receive the new VISA?

Yes, you can go country to your home country for a couple of a weeks and then apply for a new visa. Actually, there is no time limits for the gap between two visas.
