have my mom get my visa

Question

I am in college and will be traveling with my mom to China to attend the Chi Institute for an acupuncture class. we will be visiting Beijing and Shanghai before the class starts. Can my mom bring my passport, picture, and the completed forms as well as the flight and hotel information and get the visa for me? We booked our hotel through a tour and do not have exact hotel information, do I just provide the tour company booking confirmation?

Yes, you mom can get the visa for you. The tour company booking confirmation can be used as your accommmodation arrangement documentation.
